TFR’s export sales director Jeroen Pasman, is excited to join in the world largest fruit trade fair in Berlin in February 2024: “We have our own booth at the fair, so we can receive all our existing clients to discuss the 2024 sales plan, while enjoying our fantastic fresh cut pomelo with them “. When asked what he expects from the fair, Jeroen mentions: “First of all, no video conferencing calls can replace the energy you get from face-to-face meetings with your clients. Especially since covid pandemic, people value meetings in person even more. Meeting our large network in the global fruit world gives me enough energy for a whole year”. “Secondly, based on our good experiences of TFR’s participation in the Asia Fruit Logistica trade fair in Hong Kong, the Berlin Fruit Logistica, will surely generate new customers. Especially as the Berlin trade fair is much larger, with over 60,000 visitors from all over the world”. When we asked TFR’s Asia export sales manager, Ms Karla Briones, how she feels to be in Berlin in February, she laughed and told us that “for someone from Southeast Asia, Berlin in February can be very cold, temperatures of -10 with a harsh wind are now exception. But meeting all our happy clients in warm “exhibition hall” and having a chance to catch-up with them and all our friends in the global fruit industry is more then worth it”. It is clear that Jeroen and Karla cannot wait for the fair to start and to receive all current and new clients and suppliers at The Fruit Republic’s booth in Hall 3.2 , with booth no D-42.
